Ah, the freedom!
Well, I recently began wearing kilts. I have always loved them, but did not want to wear them in public. I recently wore one to the Pub, and I must say, kilts are simly superior to trousers in nearly every way. I'm looking to expand my selection and network with other kilt lovers.

Welcome to the forum Jeremiah, you will find many kilted brethren here that will agree with you on the freedom of the kilt.
The more you wear it, the better it gets.
I hope you come back often.

I can't wait til I go to my first highland games, I won't have to worry about the hassle of kilt wearing. My sister and I are looking to go to the Grandfather Highland Games in NC this summer.

Welcome to Xmarks, Jeremiah. I think most men, as you have experienced, are quite surprised at the comfort the first time they put on a kilt. They literally did not realize how uncomfortable trousers actually were because they had been wearing them all their lives.
You have come to the right place to connect with others that wear the kilt. You will soon feel confident to wear them anywhere.

Greeting Jeremiah,
I will second what NewKirt has to say about the discomfort of wearing trousers day in & day out. I have to do the suit & tie thing every day at work and can feel the crotch of the trousers digging into places where fabric just was not meant to go as i sit at my desk.
Oh to be kilted 365 like some of the more fortunate members here....
Enjoy the comaraderie here with the great folks of Xmarks - you will learn a lot & have a good time too!
