I have been told to order a new kilt
I wore my Matt Newsome made MacLeod of Harris kilt to Burns Nicht Saturday. We had a great time, the kilt was very comfortable and looked great. I got a chance to point out a Macgregor tartan kilt to my fiance.
Sunday she calls me from her parents house to tell me that she has finally found her wedding dress. She has been searching off and on now for months with little or no satisfaction in finding one. She even tried out some Hawaiian dresses as she was born in Hawaii.
She asks me which kilt I was planning on wearing to the wedding. I have been planning on wearing a Macgregor but I need to order it. She proceeds to tell me to order the Macgregor kilt for the wedding. She has found a wedding dress that is white with red and black flowers in it.
So, I have been instructed to order another kilt. I guess I better comply :-)

Six years of marriage have taught me, that what that likely means is that she has found a dress she likes and that it is way more expensive than she had originally thought. You can't be mad at the price of the dress is she has told you to order yourself a nice new kilt for the wedding
Can't look a gift kilt in the pleats though.

Luckily she is a frugal person. She will not spend that much on a dress. She mentioned that it was by B. Moss. My kilt will in all likelyhood cost more than her dress.
But, I wear my kilts. Wedding dresses tend to be 1 shot deals.

Have you ordered yet? Have you ordered yet? Huh, huh?
From your descriptions, sounds like you two will be one sharp couple on your day. :-)

I have not ordered yet. I had to make a payment on the land where we are going to build a house, truck payment, and cell phone. So it will have to wait at least a week :-)
I may go ahead and ask, and pay, Matt to order the material so that we can eliminate that delay.

Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials!
And a woman who orders you to get another kilt?
Keeper!

First off a great bunch of Congratulations are going from me to you.
Secondly, it is good to be "ordered" to get a new Kilt, I am sure that you will follow those orders to a "T"
Like others have already stated she definetly is a keeper. Well done.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Plus you are marrying a girl who tells you to buy new kilts! It sounds like you are landing in paradise.
That Macgregor should look really sharp with the red and black flowers of her wedding dress.
