I've seen these on various sites. I don't think I could look at this particular sporran and not think of the smell which I pass on the highway every 5 miles. I run across too many live ones on my place in the country. My wife might shoot me by mistake coming down the driveway. The skunks in my area are noted for carrying rabies. A lot of livestock in our area gets put down every year because they got sprayed and infected which leads me to this question. How do you know your sporran came from a disease free animal? Does the seller address this? I do think they look cool. Just wondering.

Rabies can get transmitted by spraying??? Now thats just scary!!!
was in provincetown a few years back & a skunk was following me home one eve - i guess it had become a bit tame from being around people too much... now that i learn that they coudl transmit such serious diseases i will stay a bit further away...

As I've said before: I'll stay away from any sporrans that look like animals.
If my dogs don't go after it and rip it to pieces, I'll probably catch my male cat trying to mate with it!

Eveytime i see a piece of fur like that with the face stil on it, i think of the scene in Ghostbusters where a woman's fox wrap comes back to life & goes for her face... Imagine that happening down there with that sporran... YIKES!!!!!
