Gee wiz... Why would anyone sell a kilt just so they could buy another one?

Very simple. I wanted to upgrade my collection rather than add to it. In my opinion Stillwaters and Amerikilts are built to a higher specification than SportKilts, yet in my size range are less expensive than SportKilts. So, I wound up breaking about even on the cash end and wound up with the same number of kilts . . . better kilts. Then, with that done, I added to my kilt count by buying a couple of Utilikilts. So, from a cash flow standpoint, the only additional outlay in cash was the Utilikilts.

My family is weird about the kilt thing....my parents hate it and don't understand it...my sister at least knows her brother is a total whackjob to begin with and he just happens to like kilts...

I think the Sportkilt is really just going to be something I wear around the house...I doubt I would wear this to one of our rugby matches...after all they've seen the Utilikilts and the Blackwatch

In fact, the way the front aprons are constructed, you have 4 layers of material and is actually heavier in front than my Stillwater standards, but the back is considerably lighter. They are nice for casual wear. I've sold all mine, save one in favor of Stillwaters, Amerikilts, and Utilikilts.

Hmm I wore the stillwater the day before and I have the opposite feeling. I think the stillwater is a bit heaver than the sportkilt.

Thankfully my credit card and bank account know when to scream "UNCLE!" even if I don't!
