Jacket alterations

OK, I'm off to the races. Just got back from the Goodwill store with a dandy light grey tweed jacket, like new, for a grand total of $5.84. It does have those awful slit pockets, however. I'm a glutton for punishment.
Will post a before/after photo later on (assuming that there is an "after" to photograph). :-)

hand-stitch with extreme care and close up those pockets and you might be able to make it work. Good luck!
