Just a bit curious about the reactions/opinions of the "significant other", when the decision to wear a kilt was made.
And if they were the one who made the decision? My wife wears the pants in my family.... yuk yuk ??: (I know, bad joke)
My wife told me to get my first kilt.
"A day spent in the fields and woods, or on the water should not count as a day off our allotted number upon this earth." Jerry, Kilted Old Fart.
My wife is not happy at all about it. Though she says she prefers solid or camo kiilts to tartan. The best I can put together is that she had plaid skirts as a girl and see's them as feminine. I tell her that kilts aren't feminine..she was just butch
My wife told me to quite heming and hawing about getting a kilt and buy the bloody thing. Now she wants to Know if I am going into the kilt making business I have made 2 kilts (Bravehart Ancient ) for friends. MrBill

Considering the amount of sewing I do anyway, mine is also wondering whether I plan on hanging out the shingle. She said if I do, she'll start knitting up hose for sale. Cheap.
My first was a 16oz tartan, and she helped me pay for it. Then, she goaded me into wearing it more often. Bryan...now she enjoys watching people watching me...
She was very good with the first three, now she cringes every time I talk with you guys. Moosehead, details on the hose please, pm is acceptable David
Some reluctance at first, and she still says she does no understand it, but she has accepted it. And she also likes the solid color contemporaries better. She thiniks they look more masculine I think.
The kilt concealed a blaster strapped to his thigh. Lazarus Long
My wife loves it, although she's at the point where's she sick of people asking me "the question" because she thinks it's insulting. I think she's just jealous of all the attention ;)
