    Good choice. I wear that kilt more than any others. I love the colors and after it softens the material is fabulous.

    A few words of advice:

    UK's are bulletproof. DONT worry about them too much because they can take everything but the worst abuse and shrug it off.

    DO wash it in cold water as it will shrink in hot.

    DO dry it on tumble only, no heat. NO HEAT. The heat will shrink it, but the tumbling will soften the material and if you take it out when it is done it will hardly need ironing, even for those who like crisp, starched pleats.

    Thats the problem with trad kilts, you have to be carefull as it is so easy to pull or pluck the kilt !!
