That's the handles just about finished.
I've got some bars of Damascus steel on their way which I'll be using for the blades for this pair, so will probably be at least a week until they're ready.

Beautiful!
Looks like if one ever had to actully use it would be just as effective to thunk the adversary over the head with the handle as it would be to poke them with the blade. :grin:

Guess what arrived today :smile:


The different patterns don't show up too well in the raw bar but you can make out the new 'square pattern' design on the top two bars.

I think they use Irn Bru instead of Iron Ore to get the tartan look
Anyway, I should have a chance to make some blades and try some other ideas over the weekend or the beginning of next week but first I need to finish off a custom part for a Harley Davidson that's needed well before Daytona Bike Week.
