Welcome aboard! I've heard that the UP is beautiful, and chock full of brookies: do you fish, by chance?

Welcome Dale! What spells do you cast??

There are a number of Yoopers on the board, MacMullen and Nick come to mind off the top of my head and Bubba is just down the road to the south in Appleton, WI. I am just a little further south in the northern Chicago suburbs, about 20 minutes from the WI border. There is also MacGregor somewhere in the wilds of Wisconsin. There are probably more, these are off the top of my head. If your going out in the snow, you might want some good wool hose, and a heavier kilt than a UK. I love my UK's, but they really do not have the same weight and warmth as a heavier weight kilt. Jeff, at PK, makes a great lined kilt, but he, alas, is on hiatus. A good wool or wool blend is just the ticket!

    Anyway, welcome again!

Here's my official welcome from one of your fellow Yoopers.

I'm not a full time kilter either, but I have been wearing it fairly regularly this winter. Warm wool socks definitely make a difference in how you feel about winter kilting!

I was just over checking out your other post, but came back here to welcome you aboard. This kilt train (tartans or solids) is bound for glory!

    On Spells

Thanks to all who welcomed me. I cast spells when ever I wear my kilt. I can make heads turn, make people do a double take, I can make them ask me questions, and on my self I cast the spell of freedom and comfort!

    DALE.
