Absolutely not!! No way!! Never!! I am sure you will be doing that yourself, or you should be.
The kilt I gave up on was in Buchanan AC, but I subsequently had a London kiltmaker build it for me. Fortunately, I had not made any cuts in the fabric - it was only pinned and basted - so he was able to salvage the full 8 yards and start over again.
