I think a kilt says much more about my true self than anything else I've ever worn. It shows that I'm a traditionalist but also a non-comformist. It shows that I'm comfortable with who I am, but also concerned that I am comfortable. And most of all, it's an open invitation to anyone to come over and talk to me. I'm always ready with an open ear for anyone at anytime.

I don't know if it's a part of me. but , I like it. It is a way that I have learned to get along in this world. It shows people that I have a choice and am living and participating in it my way. Not something that someone else wants me to do or be. Besides I've always thought kilts were cool.
