Phfttttt!!!! Oh man Alan!! Now I gotta explain to my boss how my monitor got shorted out by tea!

I found Xmarks mentioned on the Utilikilts UK site. I was already getting fed up with the contentious foolishness over there so when I found my way here it was a breath of fresh air. There isn't anyplace else like Xmarks.

Saw a Utilikilt workman's at the Arizona Ren Faire, searched for the name off the back pocket, got a Utilikilt and was on the UK board trying to understand why people were so rude and Steve Ashton of Freedom Kilts told me about X Marks. Saw Ham was here too so knew it'd be okay....and it is.

And Alan has been so happy since he found X Marks!

I honestly can't remember, & I don't have any friends quite as interesting as Alan's, so I can't blame them.

I think it may have been the link from Bravehearts while I was just cruising the web for info on kilts.

I Checked it Out after seeing....

I had heard of it before, actually from you, Nick, but never went here because I was at the Yahoo site. Then I received some info on the Frapper map page for Utilikiltarians and then saw the X Marks The Scot link too. Started looking at that, got interested in where some people are and here I am. And here I will stay!

Such interesting, friendly, and nice people, and great stories too! And for somereason too, all are interested in kilts! ha ha

    Here, here!

I think that's how I got here as well, I was beginning to think that something was really wrong with all these so-called Kilt sites but Xmarks straightened that right out.

Pure dumb luck... You know how you go on the internet to look up something about hex head anchor bolts and the next thing you know you're thinking about buying hydraulic lifts for your 78 Pinto? Well... that WASN'T it. But I was looking for info about this crazy idea I had about wearing a kilt and the rest is history. I thank my lucky stars I found what has to be the most helpful and well mannered forum on the web!

Rocky and Kelly told me about it when I visited them in 04. About a month or so later I joined up and haven't looked back. You are a great crowd of folks!
