Thanks guys. I was lucky that the jacket and waistcoat arrived in time for the event. It was a close thing. J Higgins did good by me on this, it took a week from order to receipt.

I'll grant the J Higgins isn't up to the quality of a $400 jacket, but it doesn't cost that either. IMO, it's very good for the $199 I paid. The service I got both times I've dealt with them has been very good. The waistcoat is wool front and back so it will look good worn without the jacket as well.

I'm always looking for good prices and values, I paid $ 275 for my black argyle, it doesn't have some of the detailing of the more expensive ones, but I've seen a lot of guys wearing similar ones. I like it and it works well for me.

I'm glad to hear about the improvement in their service because they do have good prices.
