    Talking BW&WG

I'm going to see them tomorrow night in Kansas City.

Now if I could only decide on which kilt to wear . . . .

Dang! Wish I had seen this earlier, I would have had 2 chances, Champaign-Urbana and Wheaton!

Although, we did move here from the Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater area and they are playing 8 miles from our old house on 3/20! Might be time to go back and check on the house and take in a show. The fact that it would be 70+ degrees and sunny has no bearing on my decision!

What would be the accepted form of dress for this show? I have had a young lady ask me to go and I only have a sportkilt until I send Rocky the money for my new one. I would love to go kilted but the sportkilt just isn't fit for anything but highland game field use. The show in question is Gainesville on the 19th of March.

Well, in the case of not having a kilt, dress slacks, and a sports jacket would be ok. Check with your date and see how much she intends to dress up

    dress for BW/WG

When the BW/WG were in St. Louis last week, a friend of mine and I drove up after he got off work, so we did not have time to change into our kilts (St.L is three hours away from Springfield) -- He wore a pair of Government Sett (Black Watch) tartan trews and a double-breasted blazer, and I wore grey flannel trousers with a blazer and my regimental tie from Lord Strathcona's Horse (I am an "honourary Strathcona") -- ironically, the "Jocks" were wearing almost the exact same "kit" after the show was over!

    Cheers,

    Todd

I'll be there, but in Hunting Maclean, not BW.
