I came, I threw, I am beat.

I did pretty well. I didnt win any individual events but I was near the top in a few and solid mid pack in the rest. Not bad for my first official HG.

I also joined Clan Strachan afterwards, and I expect to be at Pomona for their Games as well. I'll post pictures later.

I was just across the way from Clan Strachan in the black Neokilt, picked up two more Clan Inebriated shirts as well.

By the time I managed to get to the clan booths CI wasnt there. I did see Larry walking on one of the other levels though.

Solid mid pack mostly. I best at the Stones events, throwing near the top of the field. My worst event was Caber where I never turned the caber, and only got about a 10 degree throw. Last year at the one event I did as a novice I turned the caber 12:00 twice.

This year the QM games had a crew that probably should be moving to B class soon. A bunch of huge monsters really, who train quite a bit. Most havent competed very much though which is why they are still in C's I guess. I placed right under them, and above most everyone else in most events.

Please be aware that Clan Strachan has been banned from Pomona as has been Clan Inebriated by the actions of one small-minded guy.

Just to clarify, the "small minded individual" mentioned was NOT a member of either CI nor Clan Strachan. Rather it is someone who has a personal problem with members of both, and went about stabbing people in the back.

Sorry Yaish- I thought that would be a given that this small minded man was NOT in either Clan Strachan OR Clan Inebriated, I should have been more clear.
