Being afflicted with a potentially fatal disease myself, my prayers go out for Deborah and her family. There is always hope and the healing power of faith.

"tried to" implies that you could fail at the task. While it is a talent of all humans to be able to utterly bungle any job, prayer is not something you can mess up. For we are all equal in His eyes, and His love reaches to all His children.

I too will keep Deborah White and family in my thoughts and prayers.
