Jacobite Shirt origins?

A camoflauge great kilt so that you can disappear into the woods whenever he comes near!!!!

I had a cammo kilt, but I dropped it in the grass and never found it ;)

I suspect that the Jacobite shirt is a result of someone going to a sewing person and describing what was wanted, and the sewer, perhaps being used to the glam rock sort of gear that I made and wore in the early 70's found a similar pattern and made one - without the gathered sleeve top - added the lacing in imitation of Richard Green's Robin Hood to make it 'authentic' and there you have the Jacobite shirt.
