I have to admit that I've read and reread the entire Tolkien collection so many times that I really can't even manage a guess at the number. Whenever my life seems to be getting too hectic and too nightmarish I tend to shut down everything else and go curl up in a corner with hot chocolate, good pipes, and the books for weeks on end until I've reread every last one. Forces a great long break on me and drives everyone else absolutely insane!

Some people read Tolkien over and over, for me it's The original Dune Trilogy and Stranger In A Strange Land.
