KCW, I was referring to the work I'm having to do to soften the material, make the pleats behave, the constant readjustment of pleats after sitting, the ironing after every wash...that sort of thing

My wife and I are going to a ceili in march and yo have me convinced to wear a plain coloured kilt, the one I've decided on ot my denim kilt. I'm sure this will turn a few heads.

MacHummel, the RKilts kilt is very similar to denim, which I've also fancied.
I think a denim kilt is a great idea, certainly better than the denim jeans that plagued my younger days!
