Toad, try Target! Our local Target has a great 2.5 - 3" wide black leather belt, with a plain dull silver buckle and a small design tooled in the belt for like $16.99. I just wish they had one in brown. You can see it below, but I don't have a good pic of the back, but the design is a very plain set of interlocking circles.

To get back to sporrans: Has anyone ever replaced the cantle on a dress sporran? I've found a black rabbit fur sporran I like but I'm not crazy about the cantle it has:
I'm thinking this cantle is better suited to my tastes...
...but I also like this one:
All of these products are made by Morrison Sporrans. There are even matching kilt belt buckles available, though I think that may be overkill.
Does anyone have experience replacing cantles? Is it easy or difficult to do?

Never even tried to do a replacement, but I have to say that I really like that last canticle.

Maybe Morrison Sporrans would match up the fur and cantle you like, if you request it.

Try Wal-mart I wear this 1.75" belt with my kilts. $12, comes in black and brown, and I know where you can get a leather sporran strap to match it.

Looking at the price listed here for minimum orders, I think I'll buy it elsewhere; but thanks for the suggestion (there are vendors out there who will do this FOC).
