Everything else seems too tight. I asked them how tight they were in the calves and she said to give her the size I needed and they'd custom knit them to my calves. Can't get better than that, so to me it's worth the price.
Sounds sensible to me. One of the things my old man taught me: "Never compromise on footwear and tyres (tires)"
