Thank you all, Hamish thanks for helping me out with the grey hoses (ordered ).

I love that Grey Thistle Dubh kilt, I also like the Highland Granite from Lochcarron...

*Added to wish list...I'll better use invisible ink. My wife was slightly upset when she noticed I have several "unused" kilthangers

My great grandfather's came from Staffin Skye during the clearances in the 1850's to Skye Glen, Nova Scotia. This lovely tartan is also on my wish list. Thanks for the great pictures.

Looking good Robin, and it looks well made as well. Also great close ups of the sporran. I've been thinking of altering the clasp on my existing one and that's a nice idea.

Nice one, Robin, worth the wait.

When someone gets a traditional kilt, especially one that looks as nice as that one, it's well worth the wait. It is a lovely looking kilt.

I have been searching for a post where you might have mentioned the sporran. Did you order that somewhere or did you make it? It's quite nice.

Now this quite simply isn't fair.

Just when I think I know what I want my first tartan to be, you post this! PLUS that rather unique sporran! (grumblegrumblegrumble)

Seriously, that is a beautiful tartan - and you wear it well!
