Actually it is a postcard by Payne of the Gordon Highlanders running down a hill. My family history includes members of the Gordons.

A feather, because:

1, I don't have access to a digital camera.

2, I didn't have the computer savy to find and/or modify an image of Cyrano de Bergerac

3, Could make one quickly with my simple paint program.

4, I thought a feather would go well with my nom de plume

The background tartan is the Ancient MacKay for my clan and the figure in the foreground is a famous image of a MacKay warrior (I forgot the name of the artist, I'm having a senior moment even though I'm not that senior yet!).
