    Kilts seen on TV

I noticed a kilt in an ad for Cadbury Creme Eggs, and on Celebrity Fitclub someone called Jeff - big man, bigger kilt.

Are kilts more common or am I just noticing them more?

Yes, and yes. They're not completely common just yet (that day is coming soon), but they are a lot more common than even five years ago.

A kilt on Celebrity Fit Club? I caught myself watching that while folding laundry this weekend and I don't remember a kilt.

It was only in the weigh-in bit that he wore a kilt (I think.. wasn't paying attention when it was on), but he was kilted last time (3 weeks ago) too.

646, they may be watching the british version of Celebrity Fit Club as opposed to the US version, if there are versions of each

That's right! We see the British version - with British so-called 'celebrities' (most of whom I do not know!). The fellow 'Jeff' is grossly overweight (it's not a pretty sight) and yes, he always wears the kilt for the weigh-in part of the programme. Why he does so has never, to my knowledge, been explained. The thing is that this guy is American (so what's he doing on a British celebrity show?) and I think he is, or was, a wrestler - although he can barely walk now.

PS: that kilt never looks quite 'right' to me and so I'd be prepared to bet that it is an early Sportskilt model!!!)
