OK, got my belt and buckle in the mail today. Put it together, and noticed that the right side, where the adjustment is made on the belt and the buckle attaches, makes the buckle stick out quite far because of the two layers of leather and two layers of velcro there. The left side, with the metal loop sewn in, seems to be skived down thinner than a single layer of leather from the right side, so the buckle on the left sits tight to the belt. Looking down from above, instead of sitting straight across my body, the buckle is angled in a northeast-southwest slant.

Is this typical for this style of belt, and is it anything to worrry about? Removing some of the velcro right at the fold would help thin it down a bit. Any recommendations?
