What do you think
I'd agree it's a nice look, very much old colonial, but I have to say it's not something I would wear for everyday attire, as personally I prefer to wear dark kilts and hose.

Steve,
Very handsome. I liked the vest and the kilt. As others have stated the shirt was a little too Seinfeldian for me but I am looking forward to the newest version. Nice pipe, having given up smoking with every other vice except coffee I miss the smell of a pipe.

I agree that the look seems colonial, but I do like it. It just seems a bit reenactorish. I'd like to see a pic of the vest with a modern shirt.

Hey Steve,
Glad to finally see pics of the stuff you're talking about!
Let me precursor this by saying that I'm not (as those of you who know me INCLUDING Steve can atest) a "highland shirt" kinda guy. I'm more of a tshirt and kilt or rugby shirt and kilt kinda guy.
I DO like the vest, but the shirt is a little too costumy for me. That's not to say that I don't think it'll sell to people going to ren faires or reenactor types, I just don't like it for ME. Have Bobbi kick out a couple and hang them in the shop or throw 'em up on Ebay and check out the reception they get!
Do you have any pics of the vest with a regular button down dress shirt underneath it? I think it would look sharp with a white dress shirt and a tie matching the vest.

Colonial was the first word out of my mouth....it's a great look....and the model wears it well...I could go into some America's Next Top Model nonsense right now but I won't...

I'll have to agree with what's been said here. I like the look, but it seems a little too "historical wear" in the prototype version. I definitely am looking forward to seeing the refined versions.

and then again, a lot of folk think wearing a kilt is "costumey", but we do it.
If Steve can wear that gear (and he sure can, and looks great) then go for it.
