There was another article on the Celts in Nat Geo several years ago and that one got the "insert" treatment with a fold out of how, where and when the Celts "infiltrated" various parts of the world. I haved the daamn thing here somewhere and I've been trying to find it for a while. Best AA
National Gegraphic has a online publications index. I collect them and have close to 90% of them. http://www.nationalgeographic.com/publications/
I fogot to add theres more on line at NG here http://www7.nationalgeographic.com/n...nds/index.html
But did you see the only "kilt" picture on the last side of the article? Wearing a loooong kilt and bowing down beaten! Terrible! And people celebrating "beltane"!! Not "what they think is beltane"! And more! Is it just me or is the quality of the NGM on the downslide?

Very cool pictures! The ones on the web page are much better. Gets MY blood stirred up, at least.
Yeha, the web page gives a more complete picture of the whole Celtic thing, than did the feature in the magazine. Thanks for posting the link to the photo essay, it was very good. Make sure you follow the links on that page to the music too.
Thanks David, the links are definetly more to my liking.
