I don't think there is anything frivolous about a kilt seemingly stuck in transit... Hang in there!

UmAnOnion,
That's something I'd almost pay to see (I'm not a FedEx fan)...but not until after I get my kilt. Thanks for the laugh!

MacSimion,
I think I mentioned in a previous thread that i used to work for Fed Ex way back when - started as a courier and then moved indoors to track late/lost packages. Usually would be the epitome of proffessionalism and do my best to make sure the customer got thier package on time if not early. BUT everyonce and a while we woudl get someone who was just a little too tightly wound (or just plain rude) and the games we woud play with them should have had my butt tossed out the door. Drive by thier house in the van a few times just to see how long it woudl take for them to come out to the street; drive by & stop in front, then take off without getting out of the truck; stop @ the hgouse & not ring the bell, just leave an attempted delvery sticker; the nastier they werethe later they got thier package - the usual crap.
The worst a co-worker ever did ( i was an innocent by-stander on this one) was to tell the boss, who was on the phone with a FURIOUS customer, that thier package had gone to Beriut instead of Bermuda and that it had gotten destroyed in some guerilla action... the boss turned green & started to pass this on to the customer before my co-worker showed him the package in her hand. The boss turned 12 shades of purple, quickly got the customer off the phone and then stormed back into his office to calm down before reading her the riot act. I dont think the staff's raucus laughter helped his disposition much either...
And dont think that because you spoke to someone in a far flung location in a less than kind way that the local people wont know about it....it always pays to be nice to people who have something you want, be it a package, your food, etc. you never know what might be done to it before you get it otherwise.

Okay...From the context of what was written, your statement seemed as if it might be directed at me personally. Thank you for clarifying this...maybe I've not had enough coffee yet this morning (or maybe too much)...
Say, I think I hear a diesel engine running outside...no wait, it's just my imagination. Dammit.
