I hear ya Todd. I would rather own one kilt at $600 than 6 kilts at $100. I don't wear kilts everyday, so the pride I feel in the very well made kilt will mean even more to me.

But if you did, would every one of them be a $600 kilt? I have some very nice, expensive clothes, compared to the every day stuff, but I wouldn't wear them casually.
My point being, there is a place for the cheap stuff.
...But back to the hose...
Yes they are awesome, and I wouldn't mind having a pair for formal dress, but then, I don't have any of the other stuff for a Traditional formal outfit either.
