Yeehaaaaaw! It's all I thought it would be and more. I have my little sample on my wall at work so everyone can see it. The pics are very good but you have to see this thing to really see how rich it is. Brilliant job MacSimoin and Matt! As Schultz said, She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed will have a lot to do with when I get mine but I won't rest until I have one.

Great kilt and a big thank you

    MacSimoin,
Love the tartan and the kilt all involved did a wonderful job. Your post was read by my wife and she also loved the kilt and tartan.

She then asked why we don't design our own and have a kilt made for me and a skirt made for her. All thanks to your pioneering and the fact that you were kind enough to share all that hard work with this board. Thank you so much!!

You wear the kilt well and I am sure you will enjoy it for years to come.

    Jeff,

Glad to see the kilt finally on you! It looks great. My wife commented on how lovely she thought the tartan was. as did everyone who saw me work on the kilt. Wear it well!

What an amazing kilt. I know you're going to love wearing it even more knowing that you were instrumental in designing the very fabric of it!

Just look where this forum has taken us - it's gone from a support group of kilt wearers to designing the very thing we love. First the X-Marks tartan, now the Fitzsimmons tartan. I know I'm going to design a Triple Crown tartan in a few years (well, I've already started tossing around ideas!). What a great community.

    Andrew.

Lest I forget: I owe a sincere debt of gratitude to Hank for having this forum online. If it weren't for this site, I might still be looking for the right people in the right places to help me make the Fitzsimmons Tartan a reality. In fact, my second post here to that effect was answered by none other than Matt Newsome, who went out of his way to help a total stranger bring his hopes to life. If it weren't for Hank, I may not have ever met Matt and well, you know the rest.

To Hank: Thank you for being here, and thank you for Xmarksthescot.com.
