The weathered Lamont is a wonderful tartan, and completely different than what Jerry has offered previously.
BTW, the listing for this is on the front/home page for those looking for it. No pictures posted yet on the site.

Wow, I didn't even know there was a weathered "Lamont" tartan. All I had seen was the blue tartan. What to do? I really like SW's Nightstalker, but I am of course drawn to my clans tartan. (Yes, Robert, there are now at least three Lamonts with X-marks, and 2 are here in Oregon) Oh Hell.. now look at me, I'm gonna be makin a wish list. You people are a bad influence....
I LIKE IT !!!!!!

On the way...
This will be my first wool kilt! I've been real close to pulling the trigger on a custom medium weight wool kilt for a couple of months, still can't decide on the tartan! But I like this tartan, the brown will be a new color for me to work with, and I'll get the feel for the wool. My wife approves of it too; "Good for fall" and "at least it's not green!" (I have 4 mostly green kilts)
When I E-mailed Jerry, he only had 1 left in my size! (42) He is almost sold out and it's not even on his store site.

I'm a Lamont as well, one of 2 here in GA that are also XMarks members. I wear a SW's Blackwatch, but this might be too good to pass up. Last I heard, the weathered Lamont tartan was only being offered by the Clan Lamont Society in Scotland. Guess that has changed.

It's Here !!!!!!!!!!!
Stillwater is goooooooood. I know I don't have to jones for long before my new kilt arrives.
The kilt is lighter in weight than the Black Watch heavyweight. The weight of the cloth is more like the 5 yard heavyweight I just got from Scottishkilts.net only it does look like a full 8 yards. The colors aren't quite as warm as the photo, but still very nice. I'm really stoked! It just begs for a brown sporran and belt, so I guess the credit card aint gonna cool off just yet. I'll get some photos tonight or tomorrow after I give it a good steaming. (It's pretty wrinkled from shipping)
This is four kilts now, three in wool, three of them Stillwaters. Dang, I could be getting close to a pants burning party.
Good on ya Stillwater, another fine kilt and satisfied customer.

Okay,
All this talk and I couln't resist. I've just ordered one too. Let the jonesing begin. At least I won't have to wait very long. It should be here by Saturday or Monday at the latest if my calculations are correct.
Pray for me to not jump out of my skin before it gets here. Ha ha ha!!

I agree, it's not as warm as the photos indicate; there's more of a grayish tan (i think) to it, and what looked red is actually a red brown. They're still awesome looking earth tones

I got mine today as well
No pics, yet, but it looks REMARKABLY like Iolus', above. Good news is mine was "slightly irregular" and so that ratfink Jerry knocked the price down to $115.
Also got the new sporran, and muchly like it. My little Pakistani medical pouch has been retired!
