To answer your question about Buzz Kidder's Rob Roy sporran, though, yes it is a very roomy sporran. I wear a brown one as my everyday sporran, and it easily holds my wallet, my car/house keys, my work keys, my cell phone, some loose change, a tube of chap stick, various little reminders and notes I have to write to myself, etc. Sometimes I can even squeeze my checkbook in there, but as I have a fairly thick tooled leather checkbook cover, it tends to be a tight fit with everything else.
It's got easily three times as much space as your standard sporrans do. We retail them in at the Scottish Tartans Museum gift shop and usually have a good supply in stock:

The Country sporrans also have as much room as the Rob Roys but not quite as fancy a look.
