Clodine is in Ft.Bend County, just West of Houston proper. Don't worry about how far things are, we have to drive miles to get anywhere!
If you have transport, and can find your way, we could meet up Sunday afternoon down in town, in the Rice Village area,http://www.ricevillageonline.com/ this is cluster of shops and pubs off Kirby Drive, south of the S.W. Freeway (US59) My favorite pubs in that area are Brian O'Neills, http://www.brianoneills.com/ and The Gingerman, both on Morningside Dr. in the village. O'Neills is simular to the Celtic Tavern,(only with Guinness) and has a good menu if you're hungry.
As far as other kilted folks, I'm afraid I don't know that many down here, but I'll see who I can round up.

 Public Transportation!
We don't really have much of that, other than buses. To get anywhere from up in the Woodlands you would need to cab it or take a bus.
Tell you what, let me know when you're gonna be free on Sunday afternoon, and we'll pick you up, I can't get on the forum at work, so as it gets closer send me an E-Mail and we'll sort it out.

Made it back fine but worn out. 10 hr work days last week, dinner meetings till all hours, flight landed about 4 and I was home, change suitcases and out the door to Estes Park by 5. Had to get back to the office for some sleep this week. It was good to see you and the Mrs again. Have to find a way to get my DW down there for a visit.
