Most of the time what you see advertised as a "kilt belt" is really a formal belt, so it is black. But brown options are available. Check out both the casual belts and the Clansman belts on our site:

I saw that belt when I was pocking around your online store (right before I placed an order for some other stuff) and it looked quite nice.
The only reason I stick with black for my belt & sporran is so that the leather matches my shoes (which are almost all black).

Sorry lads, but a belated thanks for that help. The casual does look good, and the price to match. I'll be making my own, eventually which hopefully translates as soon. I'm thinking a darker shade than that on http://giftshop.scottishtartans.org/accessories.html
more chocolate colour. I'll be sure to post a pic when it happens.
