What a tease! The first contest to Ireland is only open to US residents.

I'd love to go to a concert by the Chieftains anywhere, but a week in Ireland would be sweet!

I got a chuckle, though, about the Great Big Vacation sweepstake only being "...open to residents of Canada and the United States of America, excluding Quebec..." Still a bit of a rift between Quebec & the rest of Canada, eh?

Not so much a rift. Quebec has different rules and laws than most of Canada. It may just be a "contest" thing. Most things in Canada are available to all residents "excluding Quebec". It's like having another country inside our country (which is what some of them actually want). Considering the number of people in PQ I am glad they are excluded, gives the rest of us more of a chance

You get that in the States a lot of times as well. For some reason Tennessee seems to get shafted a lot. Different state laws.
