No better place to photograph the Maple Leaf tartan.

You should email Bear a copy of the pic if you haven't already.

    Good pic ick
It's so easy to forget what we have here. It's so great to see the comments , about home, from around the world. Kind of regrounds a person and makes them realize just what we have here. Also helps us all put up with tourists. Thanx kid

Pictures like that remind me of why I can't live anywhere but near the Rockies. I haven't been in Canada since I was less than a year old, but it looks like a trip to the Great White North is in order one of these days.

Your German friend there is a hottie, for sure. I fell in love with a German girl once... bummer was, she was staying with my then girlfriend. I had all sorts of naughty thoughts, but the girlfriend must have sensed it and soon the Deutscherin was gone. I don't know if it's just the Cherman eggscent or what, but I have always remembered her name, even though I occasionally forget the g/f (ex).

    Ah.....

Great shot. Crazy for hiking in a kilt? I got one for hiking for my son and I on a whim and now we won't hike in any other garment. Practical, comfortable in all kinds of weather and no slimy feeling everyone else had the second day putting on their wet hiking shorts after being in the rain all day the first day. Kilted hiking; the only way to hike.
If they outlaw guns, can we go back to using swords?

    Hi all,

Sorry to be a little late in responding to this post; must agree great pic, great scenery and great looking young people, however, I do believe that a large portion of the credit should go to Whiteraven, Sr., who, very obviously, has done an outstanding job of raising his son.

    Well done, indeed, Sir.

Thanks for your kind comments Loftguy. Such comments make whiteraven Jr. mother and me blush with pride.

As with all of our kids we are trully very proud of Ick. He's well adjusted, kind, and loves the outdoors and nature. What more could parents ask for?
