What they said about pre-flash use...

I'm wondering about the strip of tartan cloth that some of the models in the TFCK catalog have tied around their leg below their knee...on one side...sort of like an arm band put on their leg...or a gang colors deal? Sorta like the old ties only bigger and on one side and doesn't cover the sock...

Any clues welcome...not much fashion sense out here in the canyonlands.

    ties...

Thanks for the tip -- I had a pair of red garter ties that a friend made for me that I used to wear with my old tartan hose; I've been looking for a source for them for a while for my new hose.

They are, INMHO, quite classy. Kinda like a "real" bow tie versus the pre-tied variety!

    Cheers,

    Todd

The Garter Ties are completly new to me. I'm looking around and thinking seriously about making a few myself. Highland Clans is the only place I've found them, that price is a little high.

I make 'em, if anyone is interested. They are exactly the same as those worn by many native men while in regalia. I fingerweave them. I have no digital, so what I'll do is offer a free pair to the first individual (must be a knowledgeable kilt wearer) to PM me.

Maybe 30 seconds after my last, Cajunscot pm'd me. He's #1. All I've asked from him is a simple review. So, if you guys looking to order from elsewhere, can hold off for about a week, you should have his review. Takes me no time at all to do, mail would take a few days though. So, he should have them by early next week.

Ah that figures, mere hours after I ordered a pair. Well, if I like the ones I'm getting I'll definitely be in the market for some more.

Fingerweaving is the method I'm going to use. I'll be looking forward to Cajunscots review.
