    Get it right!

We show up on time, give them what they want - the way they want it, and then leave when we're through; what more could a bored and lonely secretary want?

I used to deliver UPS office and walk thru the call center and drop off the Fedex promo items and chat up the women there. The UPS managers did not seems real keen on that.
Yeah, I was one of those characters that would explode into an office. I wasn't shy; everybody knew when I was there! As a matter of fact, I met my wife on my route; she was working at a bookstore that I delivered to on a daily basis.

I found my bride on my route.
Before I was married I just assumed Fedex was an undercover dating service. Now I look at the menu but eat at home.

As long as we clarify what Iolaus means by "exploded"! Might put us onto the "dirty" thread.

A (much needed) sobering thought: think of all the kilts that would be destroyed if UPS switched to brown kilts.

We asked UPS what they did with the old uniforms once (my boss is also the Costume Lady for the local HS drama club), and we were told that, due to security, old uniforms were destroyed to keep people from impersonating UPS drivers (who can basically get in anywhere.) I don't know if this is a local thing, or current UPS-wide policy, but it would be a sad fate for all those kilts.

Good grief........When I got new uniforms, and turned in my old ones, my boss told me "I don't want them". So I understood that to mean I could do whatever I wanted with them. But out of the general safety of the public, one shirt became 'dress up' for my nephew, and the rest are shop rags. Kinda a slap in the face at my job.

I know, all my old fire department uniforms are sitting in my closet. They didn't want them when I retired and I don't feel right destroying them. But you can't allow those kind of things to get out in the public.

Bet if a UPS guy ever tried a UK Chocolate Workman's he'd not wanna give it back. Weird driving position, rummaging around in back for packages, all the "running" and stair climbing...circulating air on a hot day.

Always thought UK made their postal blue kilts for USPS guys with balls.
