I'm just up the road from you in Asheville. We have a great celtic pub here so give me a holler if you're ever up this way.
That reminds me, we need to set up a kilt night some time soon...

Welcome to the forum. I am sure within a few days here you'll find all the kilt makers you need. BTW check out our own M.A.C. Newsome on the members list. He has the Scottish Tartans Museum and also makes kilts. Welcome again and prepare to be kilted

Thanks everyone for the hearty welcome. I'm looking forward to getting my kilt and going kilting. I'll hopefully be ordering one soon. I'm a Buchanan and I'm hoping to find one in the Hunting Ancient or the Hunting Modern. And I'll be going kilted as soon as possible!

    Matt,

If you want to make a day-trip up from Greenville sometime, we are about 2.5 hours away, and I can show you swatches of the various different Buchanan tartans from a couple of different mills. The hunting Buchanan in modern or ancient colors is no problem, but there are some other great options out there, as well, including the Old Buchanan, and Lochcarron's new Heirloom Buchanan cloth.

We can offer you pretty much any style of kilt you might like (knife pleat, box pleat, four yard, five yard, eight yard, nine yard, etc.!).

Ok, advertising over now... back to your regular X Marking.
    Matt
