    Hey! Welcome, kama'aina! I am jealous that I didn't know of kilts when I lived in Kailua windward of you long ago. Used to take the bus over the Pali downtown to work, until I got a job locally. I'm sure it's a whole different place now.

    I certainly wouldn't refer to myself as kama'aina. I rather dislike it here. My daughter, who was born here, can be called kam'aina.

    Yes, and the Arizona Memorial is quite somber. Only been once. The experiance was ruined by some damned Japanese tourists who decided to point and laugh at the hulk. That both saddened me and ticked me off at the same time.

    And, before anyone gets outraged... I have nothing against Japanese tourists. I only dislike the ones that decided it would be acceptable to point and laugh at something of this nature.
