Real nice work
There are some really talented people on this board
I've been making 18th century reenacting gear for 30 years
I guess Kilts and living history go together
I'm an 18th century guy born into the 20th century and have been dragged kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

Michael,
Beautiful stuff; you are, indeed, very talented.
I particularly like the sporrans as they exude character unlike the, IMHO, anway, plain Jane leather sporrans so frequently seen today.

Those are absolutely fantastic. What envy you must inspire amongst your fellow reenactors. Hell, what envy are you inspiring on this board!

Thanks Bob, that is really why I made the Dirk and Sporrans (that, and I am too canny {read:Scots for cheap} to buy any more "ready made" versions!);
I kind of like the more quirky Victorian and older regalia found only in Scottish estates and castle museums etc. and wanted to give a bit of that flavor to my accessories. Glad you like them.

Beautiful stuff!! Now we just need to know if you're going to go into business making them. Probably plenty of potential customers here at X Marks. I'm particularly fond of that dirk should you ever want to get rid of it..
