    very impressive work

where did you buy the cantles of the two sporrans on the right hand side of the photo??? I am interested in making my own sporrans - have a freelander styled all cut out just awaiting stiching but have hesitated in even thinking about doing a dress sporran as i had no idea as to where to get the parts that cant be home made...

p.s. what part of NJ are you - I am JC - right across from lower manhattan

I find it somewhat strange, and not a little ironic, that kangaroo fur is acceptable in the States, but that seal fur is not. What is it, has everyone forgotten Skippy?

    Thumbs up

Very nice work, and I like it! I see you favor the older, period styles as well.....must be the historian/reenactor coming out in both of us!
I see from your title, as well as BillMcc's, that you are fellow pipers and devotees of the Great Highland Bagpipe like myself. Cheers.

As Bill noted, the cantles were ordered from Stillwater. One came with the tassle tops, one without. Both were $25 when I ordered them.
I'm a bit further down south. Just across the river from northeast Philly. I can be at Independence Hall in about 15 minutes.
