We have a distillery opening on Vancouver Island soon, and my wife keeps calling it Scotch. She doesn't get that if it is not made and distilled in Scotland, than it is just whisky, not Scotch.

True - if it's not distilled in Scotland, it's just whiskey - not that thats a bad thing! Just that it's not Scotch. But this is a blend of different Scotch and I'd like to know if anyone has tried it?? Props to the man for getting himself and his kilt in the media!
I guess that maybe I'm getting to be an old stick in the mud but besides the too short kilt he's wearing boots and no flashes with a PC. Seems to me that he's making a mockery of the Scots out of perhaps only ignorance, that tends to frost me a bit.

Chris.
And he's wearing a "Got Scotch?" T-shirt under it, the same way I used to wear a colored t-shirt and tennis shoes with a suit, when I was in my 20's.
He looks like a modern "Wild Scotsman" in a fancy jacket. It looks like he has adapted the clothes to fit his PR. If he looked dapper, he wouldn't fit the image that his name suggests.
