Now why'd she have to go and do that ?

I was doing so good, had more kilts than jeans when my favorite prison guard went and bought me two new pairs of jeans ...
Fortunately my Pride of Scotland has been properly measured and sent, my Anderson is at FedEx now mere miles from delivery, I gave James at SK my measurements for the secret one, and I have my friend Danny working on the penguin for my next Neo. She gets me two, I get four to cover.

Or better yet Give the thrift shop your two oldest jeans and resume the count.

I ALMOST bought a pair of pants a few days ago. Hey, they were nice pants...Columbia outdoors khaki's, I would wear 'em to work.

And then I thought...but at twelve bucks, that's almost half of what I just paid to Fraser and Kirkbright for six yards of tartan for a new kilt!

.....and I HAVE enough pants already.

    Funny how one's brain changes.

You definetly need to keep the closet space open for more Kilts. Keep inching out and recycling those pants, your closet will thank you, and your Kilts will be able to breath.

    And you will look awesome.

You do realise she is setting you up for some MAJOR purchase that she has planned in the very near future - she is buttering you up with the new trousers & encouraging you to buy the kilts to keep up & then WHAM she will show up with something new for herself that will blow all your purchases out of teh water & will hit you with the look of death when you even THINK about saying anything about her purchase....

dont say you havent been warned....

    warned

Oh no, I spent a goodly amount on her at Victoria's Secret, she loves the Cardigan sweater btw.
I'll just keep wearing the jeans to work and wearing them out there, one pair I was using today while painting is not long for this world anyway so the count remains in my favor.
My Anderson kilt should clear customs tonight and I'll likely have it tomorrow, latest by friday !!!

CT - u.s. customs jonesing

When my daughter transferred to a college out of state the closet in her room became a kilt closet. It's strickly for kilts only - no pants or shorts allowed. Her room also became an office. So now I can read and post on XMarks and look at my kilt collection. But I'm not really addicted, I've stopped buying kilts several times.

    Yesssss !!!

From Memphis at midnight last night to the porch here in Cali by 10:30 this am, my Anderson has made it from Edinburgh to me and it's Purty ! Thank you FedEx.
My kilts only have a pair of slacks (last worn ???) and my dress shirts for company. As far as pants go I'm a Levi's man so they don't need any special treatment. I always thought a denim kilt with a red, orange, or even silver Levi's tab on one of the right rear pleats would be the kind but the folks at LS don't seem to think so. Their loss ....
