Welcome aboard...nothing like the comfort of a kilt to make all the sitting a student does more relaxing.

Three generations of my family hung out in Canada after being cleared out of Skye before they drifted down to the States.

I'm a political studies major and a history minor. Which will make me entirely unemployable. After I graduate, it's off to get a law degree. Don't hold it against me.

We have our own, and RMC is a bit of a walk. Besides, they don't seem to like us much.

And as for lots of kilts in Kingston, yes. Yes there are. Boy, are there ever. Where else do you see a group of five kilted guys piping and dancing down the sidewalk on a Friday night?
    Welcome to the board.
Stay away from my daughter!! She's the one with a purple leather "R"Kilt that matches her Queens leather jacket in Engineering... And I'm a big BIG Canuck! ;)
    Cheers

That is something that I HAVE to see. Is (or was) she a Frec? Sounds like something they'd do.

    Wompet: Moose and Squirrel?

She's in first year but will be a Frec next year. She did the ritual dyeing of her yellow leather Queens jacket purple after kicking it down the road for a mile or so. Then when she completed her last exam at Christmas was one of the masses slapping the jacket on the ground. (I have seen the film at 11 on this one her mother is appalled, I laughed) So for Christmas I built her a matching leather mini "R"Kilt. Seeing these guys and gals dressed in kilts climbing a greased pole is something else... I don't know where she get's this from?
