Good Start! Now take a deep breath - these are just MY opinions I don't claim to be an expert... but I do play one on TV

1. Overall the site feels very "template" driven - is there a way to personalize it more to your company?

2. Bigger type, fewer words, and more high quality photos - especially on the front page - this feels more like a blog than a business site.

3. Photos - avoid the "hey here I am in my kitchen" photos - think location, location, location. Can you think of a cool place for someone to be kilted? You want your customers to "see" themselves in one of your kilts having an amazing experience.

4. Time to consider a real logo - it may even be worth it to you to hold a "kilt contest" to end up with a memorable logo.

5. The tartan list should be associated with photo samples - as a consumer its a real pain to have to go off site to see what a tartan looks like. Who knows, you may never get them back...

6. A wise man once said "customers don't buy quarter inch drill bits - they buy quarter inch holes..." You DO need to assure your customers that you have the skills to make a great looking kilt... BUT... think about THEIR needs - how is it your product or service satisfies one of their needs?

7. Think about "nitch" marketing... what segment of the marketplace does your business fit into? Who are your potential customers? What is UNIQUE about the product or service you sell? Are you directly competing against USAK, SWK, Kiltstore, Handsewn kilts sewn by the masters like Barb T? Position in the marketplace is important.

Ok I just re-read what I wrote and it would be easy to interpret all this as being very negative. That is NOT my intent - honest. Remember, I'm NO expert, but I sure would like to see another great choice for well made kilts.

GOOD LUCK!
