...Also, depending on which AK you have, there is quite a bit of weight difference. I have the tan, denim, corduroy, khaki, and olive. The tan and denim are light weight, the corduroy and khaki are considerably heavier, the olive falls about in the middle as far as weight when compared with the others.... One thing to be aware of - these kilts are combed cotton twill, the pleats will get creases and wrinkles so make sure you do a good sweep before sitting to minimize this.Darrell

Thanks for the review! I had been interested in the Forest or Olive AK, now I think I will go for the khaki (looking for something appropriate for hiking).

As I recall all of they were all pretty light weight, except for the cords. You should probably email Michael comments@amerikilt.com for the actual weight.
