    My new kilt

Well...its not exactly new. It is used, but its new to me. This is the USA Kilts Philabeg that Avonlea22 had for sale. It had been listed for some time and I was surprised it was still available when I contacted him. The tartan is Gunn, but I have no affiliation with that clan (that I am aware of). It's 22" long. Now I'm 6'3", so I was slightly worried. But I think the length is just fine.
It is a casual kilt so I am not fully accessorized. I don't have all matching accessories. SO I'm just keeping it simple. I'm displaying my new kilt.

In the short time I've had this on, I can't say enough about it. I really like the
style and the fit. Now I see why everyone is raving about these kilts. I think I might know where my next one comes from.
Now, how do I explain this to the wife?

    Very Nice!

That is a very nice kilt and the length looks just right. Gotta show off those knees! Well, about explaining another kilt to your wife should be easy. Ummm, how many pair of shoes does she have? Does she spend money on clothes or makeup? How often does she buy new clothes? Does that add up?

Well, I don't think you spend that much on clothes, you just spend it all at once on a more expensive piece of clothing. Do you go out without her every night, waste money on expensive toys, or just occassionally buy a kilt? And besides, when she sees you in a kilt, she's going to want you, so she'll want you to have another kilt so she doesn't get tired of seeing you in that one!

Shouldn't be a problem! Let us know what you buy next.

    DALE.

Good looking Kilt you adopted there. As far as telling your wife, you have two options.

    1. Tell her that the Kilt needs to be with its brothers and sisters and get more.

    2. Tell her that with all the rave reviews that you are getting, you will be the best looking couple around town and everyone would just love to be near you two.

Looking good! And don't worry about EXPLAINING it to your wife. Women love a man in a kilt. If on the off chance she does question you about buying a kilt(possible but not probable) just look at her like as if she the one that needs to explain....and as you stare at each other in silence just remember, the first one to speak, loses ;-)

    Great look...

Nothing beats going casual with a kilt. After all, isn't that one of the avowed purposes of this forum? To promote the wearing of kilts on an everyday basis. Shouldn't have to dress up for everything.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments so far. As for the wife, well she knows who wears the pants in the fam....oops bad example, well you know what I mean.

I didn't mention earlier though that I really like the PV material. This is my first. It really has a nice feel to it.
