OK, I've chomped my tongue all I am able.
For the life of me, I cannot understand the question that initiated this thread or the comments made in it.
If stealing money from banks was made illegal, would you do it anyway? Oh, wait, bad analogy, that's already illegal.
OK, if stealing cars was made illegal... Alright, alright, that won't work, either.
How about this? If they made selling heroin illeg... Hmmmmm.
AHA! Now, I've got one for you - If post counts scored the same way as golf strokes, would this thread have ever seen the light of day?
I will say one thing for this thread, however. Now we know how many hypothetical rebels we have around to hypothetically break hypothetical laws. Although I am unsure if hypothetically breaking a hypothetical law comes with hypothetical consequences, such as a hypothetical jail sentence.

I'd wear my kilts and as the government troops swarmed down to arrest the loyal kilted all assembed with our backs to the water I'd hobble forth on my cane and stand in their way boldly proclaiming "They will stop for me. I'm a Princess of Egypt!" Woops, sorry, having a flashback to the Cecil B Demiles version of the Ten Commandments. *giggle* It's that time of year.
Seriously, you'd find my butt in a courtroom faster than you can so go mounting a legal challenge to that law.
