It's my lucky day!
I got a phone call from the maildrop place I use in Blaine, Washington yesterday afternoon. Seems like another package had arrived for me. There were already two waiting for me to get down there.
A brown Buzz Kidder sporran that I bought from Charlie arrived yesterday. It appears that it will go beautifully with the Weathered Lamont from Stillwater Kilts that was waiting. Just need to get the sporran staps from cavscout yet. The chain strap plays hell with the kilt, I hear. Don't want that! The only drawback that I can see is that the opening isn't that large. Of course, the problem could be that I have large mitts.
The kilt is beautiful! This is only my second kilt (the first is a Bear Maple Leaf) and first heavyweight. It's certainly a lot beefier than the Bear, but it is wool. Thanks very much to both Jerry at Stillwater and Charlie for being such a pleasure to deal with
I feel like I ought to go buy a lottery ticket!
